Preorders for the Samsung Galaxy S23 are now available. For a limited time, Samsung will pay for your upgrade to the maxed-out model with 256GB of built-in storage. You’ll also get 6 months of Disney Plus for free. If you want to trade in an existing phone, Samsung is offering discounts of up to £450!
Although the full suite of new features is yet to be announced, Google has confirmed that Android 14 will help improve the efficiency of apps and offer users the option to scale text up to 200 percent that’s a boost of 70 pecent over Andorid 13.
Another vital change is that Android 14 will block older applications being installed on devices which should help to cut down on dreaded malware being spread.
As Google explains, “Malware often targets older API levels to bypass security and privacy protections that have been introduced in newer Android versions. To protect against this, starting with Android 14, apps with a targetSdkVersion lower than 23 cannot be installed.”
It’s sure to be another feature-packed upgrade and it appears we may already know which Samsung devices will be able to install it later this year.

The team at SamMobile have taken a quick dive into the specs for Android 14 and worked out which phones should be able to install it once Samsung makes its own tweaks and pushes it out as part of its yearly upgrade plan.
Featuring on the list are phones such as the all-new Galaxy S23 series along with the S22 and S21. Samsung’s bendable call makers also appear ready for Android 14 with it thought that owners of the Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 will get access.
Sadly, if you haven’t upgraded in a while you might face disappointment as there is no sign of the Galaxy S10 or Galaxy S20 on the list.
Here’s SamMobile’s prediction for which phones will get Android 14 latest this year.
