Apple fans around the world are finally able to go to an Apple Store and buy the iPhone 14—except in the UK.
While queues formed at shops in New York, Japan, China and elsewhere, Brits aren't so lucky.
That's because Apple has restricted retail sales of the new iPhone while the UK mourns Queen Elizabeth II.

Only those who preordered the iPhone 14 online are being allowed to go to Apple stores and collect their shiny new gadget, rather than being able to buy it upfront.
However, even these users are facing shipping delays, with many unable to collect their orders in-store.
If you do want to buy the new iPhone, you might have to try a different phone shop such as the O2 or EE stores, but bear in mind they too might be operating limited hours due to the Bank Holiday being held on Monday to observe the Queen's funeral.
It's also worth checking online. Amazon is offering delivery of the iPhone 14 by this Sunday if you use their Prime delivery service.

Instead of queues outside the Apple Store, there is a much bigger queue in London this weekend.
Some people joked that the miles-long queue to see the Queen's coffin was actually for the iPhone 14. One Twitter user wrote: "The queue around London to buy the new iPhone is crazy!"
The iPhone 14 was announced last week during a major Apple launch event. This revamped edition of the famous smartphone comes packed with new camera and hardware features.
The more expensive Pro and Pro Max models even see the screen 'notch' vanish in favour of a 'Dynamic Island' tool.
Apple also announced the new Apple Watch Series 8 with 18 hour battery life, new safety features, and even some high-fidelity Apple AirPods Pro 2.
