If you’ve splashed out on an iPhone 14, or one of its various siblings, you may well be considering some form of protection.

Not from raging Android fans, of course, but rather to keep your shiny new £849 iPhone (or £1,099 if you opt for the iPhone 14 Pro) in pristine condition and fully charged at all times.

There’s a huge array of possible cases and accessories out there. And, at least until Apple is forced to adopt USB-C, it can be tricky to choose what to buy.

Thankfully, we’ve done the legwork for you and had a cast about for some of the most interesting and useful tech accessories for your iPhone.

Unlike previous years, Apple dropped the mini model in favour of a larger version of the iPhone 14, called the iPhone 14 Plus.

There’s also the Pro and the rather hefty iPhone 14 Pro Max. In some cases, the case or accessory may only fit a particular model – so pay close attention before heading to the checkout.

Backbone One Mobile Gaming Controller – £100

This portable controller turns your iPhone 14 into an on-the-go games console. It’s very Switch-esque and clamps snugly onto your phone, drawing power from the Lightning port.

The Backbone works for the likes of Apple Arcade games or Xbox Game Pass. It’s also compatible with every version of the iPhone 14 available.

Atom Studios Keep MagSafe Wallet – £30

Keep is a MagSafe wallet made from cork — a natural, durable alternative to leather and plastic that has the added benefits of being naturally water repellent and antibacterial.

Like other MagSafe wallets, it slaps right onto the back of your iPhone 14 or 14 Pro and lets you carry up to two cards.

Not only is cork biodegradable, recyclable and reusable it’s also inherently sustainable – oak cork trees grow abundantly and harvesting the cork assists in CO2 absorption.

Twelve South HiRise 3 for iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods – £100

If you want an all-in-one charging station for not just your iPhone, but other Apple accessories, this is the one to go for.

Available in black or white, the vertical design takes up less desk space than lying an iPhone flat. It uses a single plug and will free up your bedside table or workspace from irritating tangles of cables.

Belkin Magnetic Wireless Power Bank 2.5k – £30

Utilising Apple’s MagSafe wireless charging, this handy little power pack snaps right onto the back of your iPhone 14 or 14 Pro to juice it up on the move.

Mous Limitless 5.0 case – £50

Established case-maker Mous has crafted this excellent armour for the new iPhone line-up with floating buttons for easier use, ridged edges for a confident grip, and a microfibre lining to protect the glass back.
