Move over Tesla—the real future of transportation could soon be here, and it's arriving on three wheels.
Designer Alexander Yamaev has concocted a bizarre-looking tricycle scooter that looks like a cross between a smartphone, a credit card, and a gigantic bubble car.
Yamaev's concept sketches show a rectangular, boxy design which resembles no other car or scooter on the roads today.

The vehicle, named the 'ANT-Tula', has a bubble-shaped cockpit which would keep drivers out of the rain while enabling them to comfortably steer around corners.
This cockpit actually sits inside one gigantic wheel, while the rear of the vehicle is supported by two smaller tyres that pop out of the sides.
The biggest design flaw of the scooter is that the front of the 'rectangle' obscures the driver's view forwards, so the interior of the cockpit has a large, portrait screen giving the driver a live view of the road.
This could be a little dangerous if the screen had any delay or technical failures, but could also work well in the dark.

It's unlikely that the concept scooter will ever get made, but it could play an influential role in the design of modern e-scooters which are currently booming in popularity.
With Black Friday just around the corner, it's a great time to pick up an e-scooter. Many e-scooter companies are offering major discounts on their electric vehicles, including Zinc.
It is worth remembering that e-scooters are not legal for public road use in the UK, and are only supposed to be used on private roads.
