Don’t let the cheap price put you off as the Phone (1) is no slouch. It can do absolutely everything admirably despite its mid-range specs, handling the everyday apps we all use with ease – just don’t expect to play very high-end mobile games. This price gets you 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, but you can also get one with 8GB/256GB for £319 (saving £130) or 12GB/256GB for £449 (saving £50).
On the back of the black or white model (your choice) is transparent glass that shows you some inner components as well as a series of white strip lights. Nothing calls these Glyphs, and you can set them to show various things such as notifications and battery percentages.

Nothing is a London-based tech startup founded in 2020, and the Phone (1) came out in 2022, so it’s still a really new device. It runs a clean version of Android with Nothing’s skin over the top, which follows a minimalistic black, white, red, and grey colour palette. Coupled with the lights on the back of the phone, you’ll certainly stand out from the Apple and Samsung crowd.
