Sky TV will pay for your cinema tickets every month

Sky TV has struck a new partnership with cinema chain Vue, which will dish out two free cinema tickets every month to telly fans. The first set of free tickets are available to claim today from the MySky app on iPhone or Android. You’ll be able to redeem the free tickets at every Vue cinema nationwide for showings from Sunday through to Thursday.

The small print? Your free cinema tickets are only valid on standard 2D screenings, so you’ll still need to reach for your wallet if you want to watch any 3D experiences on the big screen.

And lastly, the 2x free Vue tickets each month are only available when you have Sky Cinema added to your Sky TV bundle, so those with the standard Sky Entertainment package or Sky Sports won’t qualify for the monthly giveaway.

Book tickets online or at the counter in your local Vue using the code found in the MySky app. The code refreshes each month.

There are plenty of bonuses when you add Sky Cinema to your Sky TV bundle. In the MySky app, you’ll be able to claim 2x cinema tickets every month to use at any Vue cinema nationwide.  Not only that, but you’ll unlock hundreds of hours of TV shows and movies to binge, thanks to a free subscription to Paramount+ (usually £6.99 per month) to watch on your Sky Glass, Sky Q, or on any device with a Paramount+ app

With some of the biggest blockbusters of the year set to launch in the coming weeks and months, including Martin Scorsese’s epic Killers Of The Flower MoonWish – Disney’s first hand-drawn animation in years, the next entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – The Marvels, and Wonka starring Timothée Chalamet.

Sky Cinema already bundles access to Paramount+ for free. The streaming service, which costs £6.99 per month when bought separately, includes exclusive films and boxsets like Scream 5, Sonic The Hedgehog, Top Gun: Maverick, Yellowjackets, 1923, and Smile. You can stream everything included with the streamer on your Sky Q, Sky Stream, or Sky Glass device – and also use your login on any Paramount+ app, including on iPad and Android.

Subscribers will be able to watch a number of exclusive movies, including recent releases like Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson and Pierce Brosnan, Dungeons and Dragons: Honour Among Thieves starring Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez, and Minions: The Rise of Gru, featuring the vocal talents of Steve Carell and Julie Andrews.

Sky also produces a slew of original movies, including Sky Original films such as Zach Braff’s A Good Person, starring Florence Pugh and Morgan Freeman, The Portable Door with Sam Neill and Christoph Waltz, and the Academy award-winning Promising Young Woman by Emerald Fennell.

In total, Sky Cinema viewers can dive into a slate of 1,000 on-demand films.

In a time when value is more important to households than ever, Sky Cinema’s exclusive partnership with Vue will give film fans the chance to enjoy the experience of monthly trips to the cinema at no extra cost

Speaking about the new partnership with Vue, Sophia Ahmad, Chief Consumer Officer for Sky UK & ROI said: “In a time when value is more important to households than ever, Sky Cinema’s exclusive partnership with Vue will give film fans the chance to enjoy the experience of monthly trips to the cinema at no extra cost. That’s alongside our unrivalled range of films that they can watch from the comfort of their homes – and access to Paramount+ too, all through one subscription.”
