TLC viewers are fuming at Tammy Slaton after accusing the 1000lb Sisters star of “ruining” her two-year-old nephew Gage’s “brain” by letting him play on a tablet computer. Followers said the youngster looked like a “zombie” in a new set of pictures shared on Tammy’s Instagram account.
She had shared an update with her near-500,000 followers on the social media site as she enjoyed some alone time with the tot.
Tammy posted four photos, two of Gage and two of what appeared to be sister Amy’s second child Glenn, both shared with former partner Michael.
The first two snaps show Gage laying down on what looks to be Tammy’s walking aid as he wore a green outfit, seemingly set for St Patricks Day.
In both pictures, he is sitting staring at the screen of the computer device, while the television is also switched on in the background.
Another shows a sweet selfie of Tammy as she holds onto eight-month-old baby Glenn while the three sit in the living room of her Kentucky pad.
Her breathing tubes are still visible in the snaps as Amy’s youngest appears fast asleep while laying down on Tammy.
But something that really distracted fans was Gage’s use of the tablet device, with some slamming her for letting the youngster use one.
“Scary. Ruining the child’s brain,” Instagram user @montessarex commented.
They added: “A child that young needs ONLY concrete experiences. It is LITERALLY about brain development.
“The poor child looks like a zombie staring into the glowing void. So sad.”
User @gabrielekueknapfel replied: “You are so damn right…a BABY at this young age has nothing to do at a tablet.”
While @liska_tina said: “Why give a kid so young that to play with? Play toys with the kid, give it toys.”

Account @corynnh23 added: “Gage is a certified iPad baby.”
It comes after Amy moved into Tammy’s home with both Gage and Glenn after leaving her home with Michael amid their reported separation.
Michael has since officially filed for divorce, according to documents seen by UsWeekly.
Amy left the couple’s three-bedroom home in Kentucky and is trying to look after the youngsters “on her own”.
Michael has made regular appearances on 1000lb Sisters and has been in a relationship with Amy for several years.
Their first child, Gage, was born in November 2020, just months after Amy’s gastric band surgery to reduce her weight.
Amy and Michael welcomed baby Glenn in July last year, and season four has revealed how the pregnancy has challenged her weight loss goals.
