Hollyoaks pictures for next week confirm a tense one for the teens of the eponymous village, as the day of GSCE results arrive.

The week in question is a particularly tough one for Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) who, as viewers will know, is struggling with anxiety.

Shing Lin Leong (Izzie Yip) is seriously worried about him, as is Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) and, on results day, Charlie is nowhere to be seen.

But just where is he?

Mason Chen-Williams (Frank Kauer), meanwhile, is left deflated, having failed maths, worried about how his dad might react to the news.

Elsewhere in the village, Rayne Royce’s (Jemma Donovan) has some explaining to do after she is seen lashing out at Lacey Lloyd (Annabelle Davis) and Nadira Valli (Ashling O’Shea).

Rayne, you see, sets her sights on getting signed by influencer manager Faye (Maddy Smedley), and Romeo Nightingale (Owen Warner), ever the kind and loving boyfriend, comes up with an idea to help, with Faye being very keen.

Rayne, however, isn’t sure how she’ll afford it and asks Lacey for the money. When things don’t go her way, she unleashes her rage on both Lacey and Nadira – with some seriously hurtful words – with Romeo later getting wind of what transpired.

Can Rayne explain her way out of this one?

Hollyoaks airs these scenes between Monday August 21 to 25 on Channel 4, or watch first from Friday August 18 on E4 and All4.
