Time is running out for killer Joseph Holmes (Olly Rhodes) in Hollyoaks next week, as the walls close in.

Before all that, however, he discovers that Vicky (Anya Lawrence) has a new online friend, and thus he proudly reveals that he cheated on her with Serena Chen-Williams (Emma Lau).

What’s more, he vows to do it again unless Vicky blocks her new pal!

Elsewhere in the village, it’s handbags at dawn for Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe), as the McQueens – who’ve come up with the idea of a speakeasy using their underground bar – launch said speakeasy using Grace’s theme and signature cocktail recipe!

Grace, however, is not one for going down without a fight, and thus she retaliates by stealing the clan’s promotional posters!

Spoiler alert: it gets messy!

Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood), meanwhile, pays son DeMarcus (Tomi Ade) a visit in young offenders, and emotional scenes ensue in a very special episode of the Channel 4 soap.

It’s all kicking off in the village next week and here’s your first look at the drama coming up.

Hollyoaks airs these scenes from Friday August 26 at 7pm on E4, or Monday August 29 at 6:30pm on Channel 4.
