Emmerdale spoilers for next week follow, with a detailed look at all the action to come with a jam-packed picture gallery for your enjoyment.
ITV’s annual Super Soap Week is almost upon us, and Emmerdale is pulling out all the stops to ensure that its offerings are top-notch, with a devastating tragedy on the cards.
By the time the unmissable week commences, Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) has got wind of Mackenzie Boyd’s (Lawrence Robb) one night stand with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).
The discovery has knocked Chloe for six and she struggles to contain her rage as she plots an adventure with her beau, who is unaware that she knows the truth.
Charity, meanwhile, breaks down on the side of the road. Chloe, who has revenge on her mind, spots her love rival while on a journey with Mack, encouraging her to get in the car for a lift.
The tension is apparent and soon there’s chaos, with Chloe deliberately missing the turn and, with cruel intentions in mind, she plots to abandon Mack and Charity in the moors.

Charity grows concerned and, fed up of manipulative Chloe’s efforts to push her buttons, she demands that she pull over.
Mackenzie starts to fear fireworks between the two but, in shocking scenes, a car smashes into theirs, leaving lives hanging in the balance.
Mack subsequently wakes up and becomes horrified by the sight before him, as he discovers that the car is suspended on the edge of a cliff.
Charity regains consciousness, as does Chloe, and the pair panic, forced to put their faith in Mack.
Chloe knocks the wheel by accident and the car starts to slip away. Mack is forced to choose between the pair in regards to who he will save first, but just who will he pick?
It’s not just this story that reaches its dramatic peak, however, as Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) finds herself in danger, while Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) opens up about her rape ordeal to her loved ones.
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, October 9 and Friday, October 13 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
