A PLACE in the Sun had an epic Britain’s Got Talent crossover as a legendary star appeared on the Channel 4 show.

Presenter Ben Hillman has been keeping A Place in the Sun fans up to date on the filming of the latest series.


Earlier this week, he confirmed when new episodes would be airing on Channel 4, and today he has revealed there will be a special guest star in one of them.

Posting a fun snap while on location in Paphos, Cyprus, Ben wrote: "Not every day you get to meet your heroes but today was one of them.

"What a laugh we had with Demi aka @stavrosflatleysr at @octopus_water_sports We even got to learn a few of those infamous dance moves!!!

"This’ll definitely be an episode to watch out for."

In the snap, Ben could be seen half kneeling on the ground striking a pose with his arms which Stavros Flatley made famous when they first appeared on Britain's Got Talent back in 2009.

Behind him were a man and a woman and on the end was none other than Demi Andreas, who lifted his top to show off the Cyprus tattoo on his stomach and beamed for the camera.

Ben's fans were quick to comment, with one writing: "I am so JELL!!!!! @lagiflatley are legends!!!!"

Another added: "Yes Ben we will be watching for Cyprus episode, we met him 4 years ago and we are returning this year, beautiful place."

In 2019, Demi and his son Lagi returned to the stage for a brief stint on Britain's Got Talent: The Champions before leaving it behind for good.

Lagi now runs a barber shop in Paphos, Cyprus – while Demi reformed Stavros Flateley with his nephew Samson.

A Place in the Sun airs on Channel 4.
