A PLACE in the Sun fans have slammed an apartment with a "vomit green" kitchen during the latest episode of the Channel 4 show.
Host, Ben Hillman ended up in a tricky moment during the property search.
John and Liz, came on the show in the hopes of finding their dream home in Gran Canaria, where they originally met.
The couple had plans to purchase a holiday home in the town of Puerto Rico with a budget of £140,000 – hoping for some "lovely views".
But just minutes into the home search, the pair immediately turned down a one-bedroom apartment in Playa del Cura that had a communal pool and terrace, costing £136,000.
John and Liz were not thrilled to see the place, saying it was "smaller than the caravan" they were currently living in, saying it was "claustrophobic" and felt like holiday let.

When Ben asked if they would like to see any more of the home, the couple declined. Liz said: "I'd rather be back [from the seafront] and have a bigger property".
Viewers at home also didn't seem to be impressed with took issue with the apartment.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "Nice if you want to live in a box"
While another said: "Not about that vomit green kitchen".

A third penned: "I think there is a big difference between a permanent home and a holiday home".
A fourth added: "Really don't like this place, it's tiny."
Recently A Place in the Sun's Laura Hamilton had fans swooning over her as she posted a behind the scenes snap during filming for the new series.
