Adam Thomas faces ‘fix’ claims as his dance experience is revealed after he signs up for Strictly | The Sun

ADAM Thomas is the latest Strictly Come Dancing star to be surrounded by "fix" claims ahead of the new series.

The former Emmerdale actor, 34, was announced as the eighth star this morning, shortly before it was revealed that BBC Asian Network's Breakfast Show host Nikita Kanda is the ninth famous face to join the line-up.

The Sun previously told how the actor, 34, would be taking to the dance-floor this series, swapping the classroom for dance lessons.

Yet while the Waterloo Road star himself might not have significant dance experience, his wife Caroline, 32, certainly does.

She is trained dancer and even runs her own dance school, ABCD Dance in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.

So his spouse is likely to have a huge amount of fancy footwork tips and tricks, hence the "fix" worries.

Adam may also be able to use the space to cram in extra rehearsal hours to perfect his sequin-studded Strictly Come Dancing routines.

The pair married on August 27, 2017 and had been together for nine years before they wed.

For their special wedding day, Caroline even choreographed a special dance routine which she performed with her troupe on the big day.

A clip of the routine ended with her pulling Adam onto the stage for a boogie.

Meanwhile, speaking about taking part on the latest Strictly series, Adam said: "I am so excited to be joining the cast of this years' Strictly Come Dancing. I've been such a big fan of the show for years, I can't believe I'm actually doing it!

“I can't dance to save my life but I'm buzzing to learn and have a good laugh with my pro. Get me on that dance floor…I can't wait!"

Strictly has already become embroiled in a separate fix row before this year's series has started.

The BBC's flagship weekend show has signed up West End theatre star Layton Williams – and fans have already speculated foul play.

Layton, 28, recently starred in hit musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie.

Yet the Bad Education actor – who has now caught the attention of Strictly Come Dancing bosses – first found fame with his fancy footwork in the stage adaptation of Billy Elliott in 2007.

Additionally, fellow Strictly recruit Angela Scanlon has also caused a stir after her dance training past came to light.
