RENOWNED actor Akhil Mishra, who is widely popular for portrayal of Librarian dubey in 3 Idiots has passed away in a tragic accident.
The actor was reportedly working in the kitchen when he accidently slipped from a stool.
The fall was fatal according to his wife who spoke to Indian Express.
Reportedly, Akhil was found in a pool of blood, and was rushed to the hospital. However, he was declared dead after a series of efforts by the doctors. The body has now been sent for post-mortem.
A close associate of Mishra has confirmed he has been unwell for quite some time now. It is said that the actor has been suffering from serious blood-pressure related issues, which could be the reason behind the actor’s untimely death.
According to sources, his wife and actress Suzanne Bernert was away for a shoot when the incident happened, but immediately rushed back to the scene when she was made aware.
Suzanne shared: "I am heart broken. My second half is gone now."
Sources have confirmed his last rites will take place on September 21at Indralok, near Golden Nest.
Akhil Mishra was a notable name in the Indian film industry. He worked in major films like Don, Well done Abba, and Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi.
His most famous work was the 2009 comedy-drama 3 Idiots, where he shared the screen with Bollywood star Amir Khan.
