Amanda Owen fans all say the same thing as Our Yorkshire Farm star reveals how she spent school strike day with kids | The Sun

AMANDA Owen has wowed fans by showing the kids making the most of their school strike day by looking after horses.

Amanda, otherwise known as The Yorkshire Shepherdess, is raising her nine children at Ravenseat Farm, and as schools across the north were shut on Tuesday, she made sure it didn't go to waste.

In pictures posted to Instagram, Amanda's daughter Violet was seen tending to the horses by feeding and grooming them.

She wrote alongside the pic: "Straight from the horses mouth. No long faces here today as it’s school strike day."

Fans praised the move for the day still being put to good use, with one commenting: "What a way to spend a bonus day off school, out in the fresh air helping mum and dad with the animals. Brilliant."

Another added: "Such a beautiful girl, and a beautiful horse! I love that Violet is so caring and capable at such a young age! She is a daughter to be proud of."

"The second photo is a beautiful photo, of a girl with her best pal," added a third.

Amanda's children – Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie, and Nancy – have all followed the family way by learning how to work and live on the farm.

Despite her split from husband Clive Owen after 21 years of marriage, the couple is committed to remaining working together and co-parenting their kids.

Her youngest three, Annas, Nancy and Clemmy,  have even branched out and appeared on their own TV show earlier this week for a special episode of Sky Kids show Pooch Mooch, following in the footsteps of their parents who rose to fame on Our Yorkshire Farm.

The show was officially cancelled by Channel 5 in November 2022 in light of Clive and Amanda's split, with both now pursuing other TV projects.

A new spin-off, Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive, saw Clive team up with his son as they embark on a new business venture.

Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda did not feature in the programme, but bosses have hinted there's a separate project being lined up for her.

Channel 5's factual boss Daniel Pearl told the Daily Mirror: "The Owens have become everyone’s favourite farming family and millions have enjoyed watching their unique way of life.

"It’s fantastic that we can now all follow Reuben and Clive on their next adventure.”

He added: "We remain absolutely committed to the whole wonderful Owen family and hope to announce new projects with Amanda very soon.”
