BBC Breakfast viewers have stated the show is an "uncomfortable watch" due to the relationship between two of the hosts.

On Thursday's programme (September 1), Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt presented their regular slot on the morning programme.

However, some fans claimed their bond was not coming off as authentic with fans noticing that the pair couldn't "stand each other".

Taking to Twitter, one BBC viewer wrote: "Omg Charlie & Naga at least pretend you can stand each other?! so uncomfortable to watch these 2 #bbcbreakfast."

Another replied: "To think the issue is, Charlie is socially awkward and Naga is rather unpleasant."

This comes after viewers were also convinced host Naga showed off more than she bargained for on the show.

On the programme, Naga could be seen sporting a mainly yellow patterned dress which had a pinkier patch around her left breast area – which fans thought looked like a rude wardrobe blunder.

Some fans even pointed out on social media that Naga's choice of outfit was a little questionable.

From a quick glance, some cheeky fans thought it looked like one of her breasts was exposed on camera.

One tweeted: "Morning coffee almost spilt as looks like @BBCNagga got a boob out with that dress #bbcbreakfast."

A second penned: "Naga does a blooper with her outfit. More close-ups of her face. See fewer shots of her and Charlie Stayt. Wardrobe change or soldier on?"

While a third quipped: "Today, Naga, has come as Batman #bbcbreakfast."

In more BBC Breakfast news, presenter Jon Kay revealed why he angered a TV viewer earlier in the week.

On Wednesday's show (August 31), Jon chatted to the programme's weather reporter Carol Kirkwood who told viewers how overjoyed she was that rain was coming to the UK.

Carol said: "And that leads us into a rather unsettled weekend and also an unsettled start to next week, with some rain on the cards.

"Of course, rain is welcome many of us have still been in a drought so there won't be enough rain to alleviate that but at least there is some rain in the forecast."

However, Jon then revealed why he got into trouble with an angry viewer the day before.

He explained: "Yeah, I got into terrible trouble with somebody on Twitter yesterday a lady called Anne because I said 'oh good, we've got some rain coming' and she said 'I'm getting married on Saturday don't wish for rain!'

"You can't win."
