BBC BREAKFAST'S Nina Warhurst has slammed a troll after a vicious comment about her outfit.
The news presenter hit back at a user who penned a nasty tweet about what she wore on Wednesday's episode.
The negative tweet read: "Dear BBC Breakfast, why have you got Nina Warhurst dressed as a Christmas pudding today, please keep her away from naked flames as those shiny clothes look highly flammable!"
Responding to the troll's hateful comment Nina responded to the tweet – and she wasn't too happy.
Nina said: "Wondering if Simon approaches people in real life to make unkind comments about their appearance.
"I'm guessing not. Thanks, though Simon. This level of feedback is always useful and taken very seriously [ yawning face emoji]."
The user was quick to take back their comment and responded back to Nina's tweet saying: "Hi Nina, sorry for the misunderstanding, normally you're dressed very smart, but today it looked like the Beeb wardrobe was getting ready for the Christmas season, never a reflection in yourself, just on today's wardrobe department."

However the BBC broadcaster was not letting it go and she made sure her 33.2k followers could see how "unkind" the comment was, before accepting their apology.
Not impressed with the response, Nina said: "There’s no misunderstanding. It’s unkind. And the wardrobe department can’t consider your feedback, mainly because it doesn’t exist. Partial apology accepted. Have a good day."
Although Nina received that hateful comment about her choice of outfit, the compliments from her loyal fans made up for it.
One fan wrote: "I said it this first thing morning and I will say it again… you look amazing."
