    BBC Breakfast star Victoria Valentine wowed fans as she returned to host the latest edition of the morning show.

    The 39-year-old presenter donned a red jumpsuit as she appeared on Sunday's (September 10) episode alongside co-star Ben Boulos.

    They woke up the nation with the latest news headlines but fans appeared to be more interested in Victoria's appearance.

    Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "You make #BBCBreakfast bearable. @VValentineNews."

    Another gushed: "Victoria is hotter than the weather #BBCBreakfast"

    A third person said: "Here's looking at you looking at you to infinity, Victoria."

    It comes after BBC Breakfast come under fire during Saturday's (September 9) instalment.

    The show paid tribute to the late Mike Yarwood following his death aged 82.

    Hosts Charlie Stayt and Sarah Campbell welcomed Jon Culshaw and Alistair McGowen onto the programme, who both thanked Mike for inspiring them.

    However, as the pair spoke about Mike, viewers BBC Breakfast appeared to to broadcast an image of the late Lionel Blair instead of Mike.

    The blunder didn't go unnoticed by viewer watching at home.

    One fan wrote on X at the time: "#BBCBreakfast fail for Mike Yarwood! Showing Lionel Blair. Someone needs coffee! Or #Specsavers."

    Another added; "I’m sorry but that’s not Mike Yarwood. It’s Lionel Blair #BBCBreakfast."

    "Lionel Blair? Not Mike Yarwood!! #BBCBreakfast"

    The tribute segment wasn't the only section of BBC Breakfast which went wrong during the instalment.

    Charlie welcomed political editor Chris Mason via a video link from Delhi to discuss the first day of the G20 Summit.

    However, but there was no response from Chris as he was speaking to someone else.

    A red-faced Charlie told viewers: "Ah, I think Chris is actually right now talking to someone else by the look of it.

    We'll see if we can go back to Chris in just a moment."

    However, he managed to speak to Chris minutes later to discuss the G20 summit.
