Strictly Come Dancing stars Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola made an appearance on Monday night's It Takes Two amid continued rumours of a romance between the pair.

During their appearance on the Strictly companion show, Ellie, 22, and Vito, 31, could be seen both sporting black turtle-neck jumpers, something which did not escape the notice of eagle-eyed viewers at home, with some taking to social media to comment on the matching attire

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one wrote: "Think Ellie & Vito must have texted each other. More or less dressed the same #Ittakestwo #Strictly."

"Ellie and Vito in their adorable matching outfits again #Strictly #ITT" observed another viewer.

And a third added: "Ellie and Vito keep turning up to #ItTakesTwo in the same clothes. I'm expecting the paparazzi shot of them kissing any day now."

This isn't the first time Ellie and Vito have been spotted in matching outfits, with a previous instalment of It Takes Two seeing them both don denim boiler suits.

It comes after former Strictly star Amanda Abbington appeared to confirm that Ellie and Vito are indeed a romantic couple, with a comment she posted on a photo of the pair.

After Ellie posted a lovely photo of herself and Vito on Strictly, Amanda sent fans into a flurry as she commented: "Stunning. So proud of the both of you. You are the most beautiful couple!," and hundreds of people liked her comment.

Ellie and Vito's undeniable chemistry has also caught the eye of body language expert Darren Stanton, who has suggested that the pair have an "intense connection" that could help them reach the Strictly final.

He said: "Ellie and Vito have really pulled through and we’ve seen a huge amount of growth. They have a very strong connection, and it does continue to grow between them."

He continued: "From seeing them this week, it's clear they will be in the final with Nigel and Katya. They mirror each other's movements, have a strong trust in one another and they keep improving as a dancing couple.

"They're continuing to impress the judges and their compatibility continues to strengthen every time.

"When they received comments from the judges, Ellie had genuine smiles and showed her support for Vito by being tactile, which proves they have an intense and passionate connection."

And romance rumours have only continued, with Ellie and Vito snapped cosying up to one another following another long day of dance rehearsals.
