Dianne Buswell was ’emotional’ after finally winning a dance-off
Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell admitted that being in the dance-off made her “emotional” as it was the first she had won during her seven years on the show.
Dianne and partner Bobby Brazier joined It Takes Two host Fleur East on Tuesday, where Fleur had some good news for the pro.
Discussing their dance-off, Fleur noted: “I have got some stats for you, Dianne, because this is the first time in your seven series on Strictly that you have won a dance-off!”
Screaming with joy, Dianne exclaimed: “Yes! I have never won a dance-off and I almost thought, I think in my brain I thought ‘Well here we go again, Dianne is not winning this dance-off’.
“So for me to actually win it, I got quite emotional let’s be honest I did, but it meant so much to me! In seven years I have never won one, so thank you, Bobby.”

High-fiving her partner, he said: “Cheers to us,” before she added: “Yeah cheers! So exciting!”
Bobby and Dianne performed the Jive to Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go by Wham! on Saturday night.
All four judges were left impressed with their dance and skills and awarded them 35 points leaving them joint third on the leaderboard alongside Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe.
However, when they were announced to be in the dance-off, many viewers of the series were left fuming.

Taking to their X accounts, formerly known as Twitter, @typicallykate said: “Next week everyone vote for Bobby he doesn’t deserve this #Strictly.”
@kayp22 asked: “WHY ARE BOBBY AND DIANNE IN THE BOTTOM 2? Actually shocked #Strictly.”
@dagiye claimed: “I only watch #Strictly because of the gorgeous Bobby. Don’t you dare vote him off, judges. #StrictlyComeDancing.”
@SeanieQuigley27 added: “Wow I’m quite shocked that Bobby and Dianne are in tonight’s dance-off I thought they did amazingly well again last night and they got 35 but best of luck in the dance-off Bobby and Dianne you deffo got this #Strictly.”

Strictly Come Dancing returns Saturday from 7:30pm on BBC One, followed by the results show on Sunday from 7:20pm on BBC One.
