BBC The Traitors fans left screaming at their TVs as the Faithfuls miss major clue

The Traitors viewers have been left "screaming at their TVs" ahead of Thursday's final as they pointed out that the Faithfuls keep missing a major clue.

The brand new programme, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, sees 22 contestants in a remote Scottish castle (Ardross Castle in Inverness), competing for a potential prize of £120,000.

The contestants must identify who amongst them are the Traitors rather than the Faithfuls, aiming to eliminate them from the game before they become the Traitors' next victim to be "murdered", therefore leaving the game.

On the most recent episode, Wednesday 21 December, the finalists were unveiled as "Traitors" Wilfred and Kieran, as well as "Faithfuls" Aaron, Meryl and Hannah.

Also, in a sad twist, which saw a double elimination, "Faithfuls" Andrea and Maddy made an exit from the hit BBC One show.

And now, ahead of the final, viewers have been left "screaming at their TVs" as the remaining finalist Faithfuls have failed to pick up on a clue by host Claudia.

The Faithfuls believe that there is just one Traitor, but in fact there are two (Wilfred and Kieran), and host Claudia has been using the plural word "Traitors" to hint to the contestants, which has so far appeared to have gone unnoticed.


Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Screaming at the TV because nobody picked up on Claudia's clue at the very start of the episode when she said the traitors (plural) had killed again, and now everyone is just looking for one instead of two #TheTraitors."

To which a different account agreed: "I was screaming at the end too. They are all convinced there is still "a" traitor (singular)."

While another account put: "Could the Faithful see a clue in who Claudia asked to help her take the photo down from the wall?? (did she also give away how many Traitors there still were, talking about them in the plural?! #TheTraitors."

The Traitors continues on Thursday at 9pm on BBC One.
