Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall rakes in £900k in a year without releasing music – as ex bandmate Jesy Nelson makes £140k | The Sun

LITTLE Mix star Jade Thirlwall has raked in a huge £900,000 in a year – despite not releasing any new music.

The singer made a mammoth six times as much as her former bandmate Jesy Nelson, who broke away from the group to release her own solo music last year.

Jade, 29, who is still part of the band, raked in almost seven figures in solo profit in the last year.

New financial statements reveal that the Little Mix singer notched up a whopping £867,0703 profit at Jade Amelia, her private firm.

Its new earnings have increased the company's net worth to £1,413,333 in the year ending 31 March 2022.

It appears Jade's income wasn't affected since Little Mix split in December 2021, when they last released new music.

Jade has brought home six times as much as her former bandmate Jesy, 31, who quit the band to launch a solo career.

She cashed in £140,000 in the last year, after walking away from the group in 2020 for personal reasons.

Jesy, who set up firm Jessica Louise Ltd in 2019, released her solo debut track Boyz with Nicki Minaj earlier this year.

But despite peaking at No 4 in the UK charts, it failed to rack up as much money as her former single with Little Mix.

Filing her accounts covering the 12 months of trading since March 2021, Jesy revealed she has a total cash pile of £338,701.

Last week, she revealed her second single is due for release soon, with her seen filming a new music video for the track.

The singer recorded a promo for her new song Cried Out on a locked-down set at Twickenham Studios in London.

Meanwhile, Jade is said to be landing a  £3.2m payday following the closure of Little Mix’s live music firm Eternal Magic Touring last month.

It comes after Little Mix found themselves embroiled in an investigation regarding their unreleased songs.
