Kyle Dickard was arrested earlier this month after storming a soccer field in Florida, it emerged this week. The short-lived star of Below Deck Adventure didn’t last long on board Bravo’s latest spin-off but has since taken to his Instagram account to laugh off the three charges against him following the incident.

The Below Deck cast member shared a video of soccer fans shortly before he ran from the stands at the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.

In the caption, Kyle joked about the incident in which he was arrested with three charges.

“How it started vs. How it ended,” he wrote, adding a laughing and sweating emoji.

He then added: “I would of scored if I had a belt on… [just saying].” (sic)

The deckhand also included a picture of his smiling mugshot in his Instagram post.

The reality show star was apprehended by security guards but, according to TMZ, he resisted and was subsequently tackled to the ground.

According to witnesses at the event, Kyle “caused the crowd to become unruly” and “incited several others to run onto the field”.

He was ultimately given one charge of disorderly conduct, one charge of resisting an officer without violence and one charge for bribery by a public servant.

Court documents obtained by People magazine claimed Kyle made numerous offers to police officers to let him go for a bribe of $300.

As of the latest update, Kyle has paid $750 of his $7,500 total bond so far.

His arrest comes shortly after his shortlived stint on Below Deck Adventure came to an end earlier this month.

Kyle was fired from the reality show by Captain Kerry after just three episodes of the Bravo spin-off’s first season.

Many viewers were happy to see him go after he caused trouble on board the Mercury, particularly after a violent threat against fellow deckhand Nathan Morley.

Kerry told crew member Lewis Lupton: “Today Nathan was really upset because Kyle started threatening him with violence.

“I feel that he is a threat to the safety of other crew members.”

However, bosun Lewis attempted to defend Kyle, arguing he still had valuable experience which would help the crew on board.

“I was going to save him, but he is the most experienced and I would have liked him to become lead deckhand,” he said.

“I mentioned to him that if he could behave more professionally – it is his to lose.”

“He is definitely not the picture of a perfect crew member. But Kyle is experienced enough that I could learn some things from him.

“But I need him on deck, and I hope this conversation goes well with Kerry. I hope Kyle can turn this around.”

Despite Lewis’s protests, Kyle agreed to leave after a stern conversation with Kerry to avoid the captain filing an official report about his behaviour.

Below Deck Adventure season 1 continues Tuesdays on Bravo. Below Deck season 10 is available on Hayu in the UK.
