Viewers who tuned into Britain's Got Talent: The Ultimate Magician were left scratching their heads as some were questioning whether Noel Fielding could be behind the gruesome act.
The terrifying Witch returned to ITV on Sunday night for the BGT Christmas special which saw a number of magicians compete to win £50,000.
But the mystery act, which left fans glued to their screens earlier this year when they appeared on the show, still had viewers guessing as they took to Twitter to see if they could spot who the Witch was.
Jumping onto the social media site, one viewer tweeted: "Who is the Witch on #BGT then? My money is on Noel Fielding."
While another said: "So the Witch isn't going to pull off his face to reveal Simon Cowell shouting 'Gotcha!.'"
A third penned: I'm getting a bit of Rik Mayall from the Witch on
Meanwhile others were just pleased to see The Witch back on their screens.
One mesmerised viewer said: "Generally one of the most fantastic magic acts to come on that bgt stage. Such a clever concept and I'm so happy to see them back! Creepy magic is my kind of magic!!"
Another echoed: "Honestly The Witch is very good. It’s scary but the tricks with the boxes and head falling off the bear and the girl changing actually works."
And a third penned: "I am enjoying #BGTMagic a great idea. I have liked Colin, Richard Jones the emotion he gets across in performances is great, Eric was so good to watch too, Marc Spelmann was powerful to watch, Magical Bones really good to watch again, The Clairvoyants and The Witch."
Despite The Witch's popularity from viewers at home, the act failed to impress those in the studio and missed out on the first place spot once again.
Eric Chien who only started performing his act to large audiences in 2019 admitted that he felt nervous to take to the stage.
Regardless of his nerves, the star mesmerised viewers with his spectacular performance.
But although many were happy for him, some still felt The Witch was robbed.
One BGT viewer took to Twitter and wrote: "Their is no justice in the world if The Witch does not win."
