Since Will Best and AJ Odudu were announced as the newest presenter of Big Brother, the pair have been inundated with congratulatory messages – however, Jedward's musical message to Will stood out from the rest.
The 38-year-old broadcaster has revealed that Jedward – twins John and Edward Grimes – got in touch with him after his Big Brother news went public.
"I got a lovely congratulatory message from Jedward [John and Edward Grimes], obviously legends of the Celebrity Big Brother house, with a duet," Will said.
"They offered me huge Jepic energy and it’s been sustaining me for the last few months."
Irish musical duo Jedward rose to fame in 2009 after competing on The X Factor and went on to release four studio albums and represent Ireland in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.
The pair signed up for Celebrity Big Brother that same year, coming in third place behind Kerry Katona and Paddy Doherty.
They returned to the show once again in 2017 for an all-stars series, coming in second place behind Coleen Nolan.
ITV's Big Brother isn't the first time Will has been associated with the brand, with the TV presenter becoming a regular panellist on Big Brother's Bit on the Side back in 2013.
He has also hosted E4's Love Shaft, ITV's Dance Dance Dance and BBC Three documentary Is This Rape? Sex on Trial.
Speaking about hosting the new series of Big Brother with AJ Odudu, Will said that he's beyond excited to kick off the show.
"If you asked me 15 years ago what is the one show you would like to present the most, it would be Big Brother. I was obsessed with it," he said.
"And you don’t always get to work with a really good mate on something this high profile. Being able to go out there and do a show like this alongside AJ – who I think is the funniest, loveliest person in the world – I know it’s going to be fun."
He added that the reboot is going to "reflect issues that are important now".
"The housemates themselves are going to reflect the sensibilities of people in the UK now," he added. "It’ll be a group of people who would never normally meet."
ITV2 is set to introduce the show's cast of carefully selected housemates in its first episode, unveiling the new and improved Big Brother house.
Big Brother airs on Sunday 8th October at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
