Billie Shepherd shares first-hand account of sister Sams no pain relief home birth: She just breathed through it!

Billie Shepherd shares first-hand details from her sister Sam's "incredible" home birth for her third child on Wednesday's episode of her new series of Billie and Greg: The Family Diaries.

Sam, 31, welcomed her third child, a son called Edward, with partner Paul Knightley at their Surrey home at 8.20am on 13th May following a fast three-hour labour.

Discussing the home birth on Wednesday's pre-recorded episode in an exclusive clip obtained by OK!, Billie and her mother Suzie, who were both at the birth, are shopping for baby clothes just shortly after the birth.

Suzie says: "One week old tomorrow morning! That was amazing that birth though, I mean all births are amazing but…"

To which Billie praises her sister, saying: "She just did amazingly, not even gas and air! Like, that was crazy!"

With Suzie pointing out: "I think she just gets herself into the zone, doesn't she?"

To which Billie adds: "Samantha is really calm, she's quite good at self control with all her breathing."

With Suzie joking: "A bit different to you!" to which Billie quips: "I know, can you imagine?"

It then shows sweet footage of Billie's two children, Nelly, eight, and Arthur, five, meeting their baby cousin for the first time.

While Billie adds in a VT: "I am so proud of my sister, she had a home birth so she had no pain relief… she just breathed her way through it, it was just incredible!"
