Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier has finally met Dianne Buswell’s boyfriend Joe Sugg following their near-kiss on the show.
The EastEnders star, 20, is partnered up with Aussie dancer Dianne, 34, on this year’s series of the glitzy BBC One programme. And it’s fair to say the dance couple have got plenty of tongues wagging recently.
This month, they sparked a meltdown with viewers thanks to their steamy Argentine Tango. The pair finished in the middle of the leaderboard, earning a respectable 30 points out of 40.

However, fans were left hot under the collar after watching their routine. Viewers were convinced they saw Bobby lean in to kiss Dianne, who moved her head back.
Since then, plenty of fans shared their concerns that her relationship with Joe Sugg is over. But Dianne was quick to set the record straight saying: “We obviously did the dance the correct way if people are saying that [romance rumours]then we did a good job with it.".
And now, she’s revealed that Bobby has recently met Joe – who she’s been dating since 2018 when he appeared on Strictly. And it turns out it wasn’t as awkward as expected.
Speaking to The Mirror, Dianne gushed over her beau. She said: “Since I've been with Joe, I've been in this job and I go off on tours and I come back and then Strictly season starts. So I barely get to see him much. But he understands.”
According to the publication, Bobby has met Joe a couple of times. When asked whether their meeting was awkward, considering the speculation about Bobby and Dianne’s steamy dance, she laughed it off.
“Of course, it wasn’t awkward! I don’t feel awkward at all,” Dianne insisted.
