The ‘Oops!…I Did It Again’ hitmaker declares that she is ‘not dead’ after the ‘Stranger Things’ actress revealed her desire to portray the Princess of Pop in a biopic.
AceShowbiz –Britney Spears has responded to plans to make a biopic of her life. The Queen of Pop took to her social media feed to slam Millie Bobby Brown after the actress said she wants to play the singer in a biopic.
In the Tuesday, November 8 Instagram post, the “Oops!…I Did It Again” hitmaker wrote, “I hear about people wanting to do movies about my life … dude I’m not dead !!!” She went on adding, “Although it’s pretty f**king clear they preferred me dead [rolling eyes emojis] … I guess my family is going to lock their doors now !!!”
Elsewhere in her post that featured a photo of an old brown door, Britney penned, “Good news, good news !!! Still breathing,” before cryptically pointing out that “it’s funny the same two people who gave me life are the same exact 2 people who took it away.”
Assuring her fans that she’s doing okay, Britney stressed, “I’m alive and I’m breathing again !!!” The “Toxic” singer continued, “Yeah I know I’ve posted too much this week on Instagram … kinda fun though !!! Now that I’m breathing … I have time … it’s different !!! I like it !!! Either way … I just want to say hi and share these fabulous doors !!! I did kinda post too much this week … I’m embarrassed !!! I get it … oh well !!! Have a good day !!!”
Millie revealed her desire to portray Britney in a biopic in the Monday, November 7 episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show“. During a chat in the back of a car, Millie was asked by host Drew Barrymore, “What would you like to do next?” In response, the “Stranger Things” star shared, “I wanna play a real person,” adding that she wanted to portray Britney.
“I think her story, first of all, resonates with me,” the “Enola Holmes” actress explained further. She also elaborated that she and Britney shared the experience of “growing up in public,” highlighting that she detected similar feelings when she would watch old interviews with the pop superstar.
“I mean, same thing with you [Drew],” Millie said while comparing her and Britney’s early experiences to Drew’s work as an in-demand child actress on films like “E.T.” and “Firestarter“. Millie continued, “I see the scramble for words, and I don’t know her, but, when I look at pictures of her, I feel like I could tell her story in the right way. And hers only.”
