Antiques Roadshow guest shocked by valuation of royal garments
Presenter Fiona Bruce welcomes Camilla Parker Bowles in a special episode of Antiques Roadshow that will air next year. The BBC show visits the Eden Project in Cornwall and viewers will see the Duchess bringing along two of her personal items to be valued by the experts.
In the episode, Camilla meets with teenager Dylan Kilpatrick and his mother Amanda Fishlock.
The guests ask the experts to value a painting by their ancestor, 19th-century artist Robert Ponsonby Staples.
The teenager revealed the Duchess of Cornwall spoke to him and his mother about their painting.
“She said she was jealous, she said she really liked the figure in the foreground,” Dylan noted.
