CAROL Kirkwood has become the latest BBC Breakfast host to be replaced in another shake up.
The 60-year-old weather presenter typically presents the weather bulletins for the morning programme.
However, viewers tuned in this morning to discover she had been replaced.
Instead Sarah Keith-Lucas provided the weather forecast on Monday.
Presenter Jon Kay told viewers that Sarah would be bringing them their weather updates "for the next few days".
But he failed to address Carol's noticeable absence.
Carol is a hit with viewers who regularly take to social media to wish the presenter a good morning.

While Carol has been working for the BBC for over two decades, her exact salary is unknown.

The 2021 to 2022 report reveals the enormous salaries of some of the most popular on-air talent including Naga Munchetty and Zoe Ball, but there is no mention of Kirwood’s salary.
