Loose Women was prepared for a fiery clash today, as Celebrity Big Brother star Kim Woodburn reunited with fellow housemate Coleen Nolan.
The pair didn’t exactly see eye-to-eye during their time in the house, Kim later calling Coleen a “two-faced maggot”.
However, while many thought they would bury the hatchet, that was far from the case on today’s (August 29) Loose Women, with Kim eventually storming off after clashing with Coleen and the rest of the panel during an uncomfortable exchange.
“You wanted me here, what have you got to say?” Kim began to Coleen. “I didn’t ask to come here.”
While Janet Street-Porter tried to get to the bottom of their feud, Kim then accused Linda Robson of saying Coleen admitted being two-faced.
She also said that she didn’t feel entirely comfortable about coming on the show, adding of Colleen: “I would never have come here – she’s supposed to want to speak to me.”
Street-Porter then said it was her understanding that Kim had felt “very happy to come here” today and was “completely comfortable” with coming on the show, before inviting Coleen to speak.
“I think Kim’s right, I was two-faced with Kim in the house,” Coleen admitted. “I tried not to be in the beginning, I did try to be the peacemaker in the house because everyone was rowing.
“I think Kim very very cleverly, because she’s a superfan of the show, of Big Brother, came in to play, ‘oh, look at me, poor me, I’m being bullied, everyone’s picking on me’, in the hope they weren’t showing that she came in like a demon from day one.”
She added that she “couldn’t stand it any more” by the end of the series, adding: “If that makes me two-faced, then yeah, I guess I was two-faced.”
Coleen called Kim “antagonistic” and slammed her for having a go at Linda, adding: “I tell you what I did, I didn’t tell you how vile you are from day one!”
Coleen’s sister Linda then accused Kim of having “no talent”, and Kim hit back, shouting: “Excuse me! Excuse me!”
Janet tried to calm things down further by asking Kim why she came on the show today, and what she hoped to gain from appearing.
“Nothing at all,” Kim said. “You paid me a good amount of money!”
In response to an assertion that she “clashed and argued” with everyone in the CBB house, Kim insisted: “No, I didn’t argue with every single person. I was ganged up on.”
Linda then asked Kim if she thinks she may have “anger issues”, Kim then coming close to tears.
“I’m going to tell you something, then I’m going to go,” she continued. “A lot of people have miserable lives, not just me, I’m not suggesting for one moment… we’ve all had problems and we always will.
“I had a very, very sad childhood, a brutal childhood. Terrible.”
However, while Linda tried to comfort her, Kim hit back: “Don’t be two-faced!”
“I’m not trying to be two-faced!” Linda insisted. “I’m trying to comfort you.”
“[I had] a brutal rotten childhood – I can’t describe what I went through!” Kim continued. “I went in the Big Brother house, and all the memories of those years came back. The bullying… and I was very upset in that house, and I pretended I wasn’t. I was terribly upset. They picked on me!”
An increasingly upset Kim added: “I will never forget what the likes of [Coleen] and several others put me through! I’ll never forget it – never!
“Don’t go by what you see on television! I lose my temper, but I’ve got a good heart and soul. She sits there, she’s as hard as nails!”
In the end, an upset Kim stormed out of the studio branding Coleen as “trash”, as the presenter cut to a commercial break.
“We didn’t intend for it to end like that,” Coleen said when the programme returned to air after adverts.
Linda also admitted that she was left “shaking” by the experience, ITV later confirming that Kim was being looked after by the team backstage.
Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV at 12.30pm.
