Loose Women star Charlene White was left so shocked by a rude comment from Brenda Edwards that she walked off set.
The ITV news presenter was hosting the daytime chat show when talk turned to a discussion about the love lives of heavy metal fans.
But her chat with Brenda, Coleen Nolan and Kelle Bryan ended in chaos when Brenda made an unexpected remark that left viewers and the panel open mouthed.
Loose Women's stars were talking about a report that heavy metal fans have more partners than people who like any other genre of music and they started to talk about their own music tastes.
Former Eternal star Kelle shared that her favourite song was Play Dead by Bjork, but Brenda admitted to loving Black Sabbath track Paranoid – which prompted Charlene to ask her if the study about heavy metal fans was accurate.
Brenda replied: "Not for me personally," but did say that she was "in her element" during her time as a contestant on The X Factor in 2005 when she got to work with Ozzy Osbourne.
The Black Sabbath singer's wife Sharon was Brenda's mentor on the show, giving her a chance to meet her idol.
However, Brenda's reminiscing about her time working with Ozzy quickly took a risqué turn when discussion host Charlene asked her whether she would find heavy metal music a turn on.
Brenda unexpectedly replied: "You'd speed up, innit!"
The audience couldn't stop laughing, but a shocked Charlene got up from the desk and walked off set at the comment.
She eventually came back to her seat and told her co-stars: "Since this is a daytime show, I am going to move swiftly on."
Viewers at home loved the joke as one person tweeted: "Omg Brenda just made my day never laughed so much."
Someone else added: "Brenda… I was laughing for a good 10 minutes OH MY GOD."
Despite Charlene's walk out, all seemed good natured between the panel – although earlier this week, ex star Saira Khan made further claims about parts of the show she had been unhappy with.
Apprentice star Saira had been a regular on Loose Women between 2015 and 2020, but when she quit she famously admitted that she had to "tolerate" some of her co-stars.
Now, Saira has told Closer magazine that she was pigeon holed by bosses and that only Stacey Solomon was allowed to be fun.
She said: "On Loose Women you saw me being quite passionate, heated and feisty, but that's the silo they put me in.
"I wanted to have a bit of fun, but that wasn't for me, that was for Stacey Solomon. Stacey was the fun one, but I had to be the loud, gobby one."
