Chart-topping star looks unrecognisable in childhood throwback snap – can you guess who it is? | The Sun

A FAMOUS chart-topping star today looked unrecognisable in a childhood throwback snap.

This pop singer used to be in a huge girl band, but quit the group at the height of their fame.

That's right that tiny cutie is former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson.

The 31-year-old shared the sweet snap on Instagram of herself as a child with her grandma.

In it Jesy can be seen cuddling up to her beloved nan, and smiling for the camera.

She wrote over the cute photo: "My nanny ginge."

Jesy launched to fame in Little Mix back in 2011 with fellow band members Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

The girl group were HUGE and had hits with songs like Black Magic, Shout Out To My Ex, and Secret Love Song.

The singer left Little Mix back in 2020 after nearly a decade with the band saying being in the group "took a toll on her mental health".

Meanwhile, earlier this week Jesy looked sensational as she celebrated Valentine's Day with boyfriend Zion Foster.

She went public with the rapper last month and it looks like their romance is going from strength to strength.

Jesy shared a series of snaps from their date night this week, revealing she'd been seriously spoiled by her man.

She captioned her upload: "Love conquers all."

Jesy recently took a break from recording new music to pose for some stunning selfies.

She is now working with an independent record label after splitting from Polydor Records last year after just 14 months.

The news came after her first solo single, Boyz, peaked at number four in the charts in 2021, but sparked a huge 'blackfishing' controversy in the process.

Her album and follow-up single never materialised, with the record label confirming the news they'd parted ways with Jesy in July 2022.

Jesy later disappeared from social media, taking a month away from being online in order to focus on her wellbeing.

When she returned, she promised new music would be arriving in early 2023, but she's yet to reveal exactly when the song will drop.
