Coronation Street: Paul struggles to lift his wine glass
Coronation Street’s Paul Foreman (played by Peter Ash) is hiding a huge secret from new husband Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank).
As ITV viewers prepare for the soap’s first gay wedding, it looks as though a major twist is in store.
Official spoilers reveal that next week, Paul’s twin sister Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose) and mum Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) help him prepare for the big day at their home.
Elsewhere, the residents of Weatherfield get ready for the big celebrations at the bistro as the wedding guests take their seats.
As Paul walks down the aisle, with the help of Bernie and Gemma, Billy waits for him, his heart full of love.

As they exchange their vows, the registrar pronounces them married and the residents watch in celebration.
However, after the ceremony, Billy is shocked to discover his new husband has been keeping a major secret from him.
What has Paul been up to? And will it cause problems in their marriage from the start?
Later on, Paul surveys his new wheelchair that’s arrived alongside his new husband Billy, and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby).

However, they quickly realise it won’t fit through the doorway to the flat, leaving them deflated.
As Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) measures up the doorway to get the chair to fit through, a parishioner called Babs approaches Billy.
Much to his relief, she gives him a bottle of fizz and congratulates him on his marriage to Paul.
However, not everyone is as happy for the couple as another parishioner called Vaughn gives his thoughts on the matter.
Telling Billy he should be ashamed of himself for marrying Paul, Billy sees red and loses his temper.
Scolding the parishioner, Billy he needn’t worry as his husband is dying, although he’s unaware that Paul has heard everything.
Will Paul confront Billy on his harsh words? Or has the reality of his future started to sink in?
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm.
