Coronation Street fans were left red-faced when they spotted Peter Barlow had a rather unfortunate outfit blunder.
The long-running ITV soap was back on TV screens on Wednesday (August 2) and fan-favorite Peter (Chris Gascoyne) made his return.
As viewers will know, Ryan is currently stopping with Peter and Carla at their flat amid his recovery from his acid attack.
And during a scene on Wednesday’s show (August 2), viewers couldn’t help but notice Peter had large sweat patches that were exposed to the world.
As Peter and Ryan looked at the latter’s new social media profile – Peter wore a tight-fitting grey t-shirt that appeared to have sweat patches near his armpits.
Viewers spotted the outfit blunder and rushed to Twitter, with one person writing: “Was Pete a bit sweaty under the armpits then.”
Another felt he'd been done dirt as they asked: “Jesus man why did you film Peter with them sweaty pits like that!”
A third chimed in and mused: “Can I ask why Peter had sweaty armpits in that scene?” while someone else quipped: “Peter Barlow’s sweat patches. Still fit though.”
In other Peter Barlow news, star Chris is reportedly taking an extended break from the ITV soap 23 years after he made his debut.
