CORONATION Street viewers were left seriously distracted by huge hospital blunder as Cassie Plummer was attacked.
Claire Sweeney's character Cassie has caused chaos after arriving on the cobbles last week.
The former addict told her son Tyrone that she is now clean and on the right road to recovery.
However, in Monday's episode, viewers learned this was far from true.
Cassie was rushed to hospital after being attacked by her drug dealer who she owed money to.
Michael took Cassie to hospital, but the drama followed them as a fuming Dean turned up and punched Michael.

Ronnie insisted they call the police, but Cassie asked them not to.
Viewers were more concerned about why there hospital did not have any security.
Taking to X, formally known as Twitter, one said: "A fight kicks off in hospital waiting room. No security. Everyone minding their own business.
"Drug dealer rushes out. A little lady pops up behind the desk. “Cassie”. All back to normal. Is this programme now becoming totally unrealistic?"
