CORONATION Street fans have predicted a tragic ending for Kelly Neelan after the actress quit the soap.

Kelly is currently in a whirlwind romance with Aadi Alahan and are now engaged after Aadi proposed in Friday's episode on the ITV soap.

But actress Millie Gibson confirmed earlier this month that she is leaving the show.

Fans think this could be a tragic ending to their love story and Kelly could be killed off.

Taking to Twitter, one said: "It's all gone a bit Romeo and Juliet in Corrie! Don't drink the poison Kelly!!!

"Star crossed lovers right there, we all know it's not going to end well!"

A third penned: "No #Corrie wedding goes to plan just saying with Kelly leaving anyway this won't go well."

Kelly has been in the center of many storylines after three years on the cobbles, including Seb's death and getting kidnapped by an evil former associate of her loan shark dad Rick Neelan.

The actress won a British Soap Award this year in the Best Young Performer category.
