Faye Brookes couldn’t have looked more happy at her beautiful wedding.

The former Coronation Street actress has officially tied the knot with Iwan Lewis, her Legally Blonde co-star and a long-time friend who she began dating last year.

The Dancing On Ice star looked every inch a princess in her gown, which featured an ornate, embellished bodice with an off-the-shoulder design and a ballgown skirt.

The 35-year-old had her hair styled in a half-up, half-down do, with her brunette waves flowing behind her.

In pictures obtained by MailOnline, she could be seen gazing adoringly at her new husband while holding his hand and carrying a stunning bouquet of flowers in the other.

The star wore sophisticated drop earrings for the occasion, choosing to forgo any more jewellery other than that all-important ring.

Iwan, 34, on the other hand, wore a suave, dark grey suit and brown loafer shoes, with his boutonnière matching his bride’s bouquet.

Faye and Iwan’s wedding ceremony took place in the Cotswolds on Wednesday August 23, at Shipton Moyne Church.

The couple only announced their engagement in January this year, four months after they’d started a romantic relationship.

Ahead of the ceremony, a source told The Sun: ‘They’re tying the knot today in the Cotswolds. It’s a traditional church wedding, then a huge reception at a posh venue nearby – then they’re staying at a spa for the night.’

On Tuesday, Faye posted an Emily Brönte quote on her Instagram Story that read: ‘He’s more myself that I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.’
