Coronation Street: The Barlow’s interrogate Peter
Coronation Street’s Amy Barlow (played by Elle Mulvaney) has still been struggling to cope mentally after being raped by Aaron Sandford (James Craven) and is set to spiral out of control.
During the recent episode, Amy conducted a peaceful protest but was soon arrested when she vandalised a police car out of anger.
Official spoilers revealed that next week Amy will put herself in danger when she saves a girl from being spiked but harms the spiker in the process.
In upcoming scenes Amy and Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) mull over the events of the night, with Amy regretting her rash decisions.
They hope that when Dan wakes up, he can’t remember what happened to him and she won’t be in any more trouble.

Taking his chance, he leans in for a kiss and Amy reciprocates, but suddenly she’s overcome by a wave of panic.
Will Aadi be the one person that can bring Amy down from her tirade and get her to move on?
Could this be the start of a new romance for one another? Is Aadi finally getting his wish to have a relationship with Amy?
Coronation Street boss Iain MacLeod recently opened up about the upcoming romance for the couple and it looks as if Aadi will be Amy’s saving grace as she spirals out of control.
“Amy despite outward appearances is profoundly affected as she will be for the rest of her life.
“There is another chapter of this, she will find herself driven to some extreme lengths and feels she is acting in a completely justified way.
“But it will fall to one of her friends to pull her back from the brink of criminalising herself. This story is a really significant staging post on the ongoing closeness between Aadi and Amy.
“Them being best friends and having each others back come what may and this really long range love story we are hoping to tell with them, it is going to engage the audience.
“This really dramatic scene between the two of them is a huge staging post in fostering their ongoing closeness and throwing them in the midst of a crisis and they have to collaborate to escape from the crisis.
“And they come out the other side with a completely different assessment of thei feelings for each other and it is very emotional, complex, realistic, close to events which can and do happen in the real world.”
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX
