Meghan Markle showed she ‘regrets’ Kate comment with facial expression

Meghan Markle may have shown some regret over the controversial comment made about Kate Middleton with a recent appearance.

The bombshell interview between Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey was a cause of controversy for the Royal Family, and it appears the Duchess of Sussex regrets one part of it.

There appeared to be some regret over the comment, according to a body language expert who claims the facial expressions of the Duchess showed she "regretted" passing the remark.

The long-rumoured trouble between Meghan and Kate, with the former allegedly making the latter cry, was explained by body language expert Jesus Enrique Rosas.

Expert Rosas said there was an "emotional component when people talk about these topics" hanging over the interview as experts analyse the reactions of the Duchess.

Rosas, also known as The Body Language Guy, noted how Meghan moved to "her creative side" and then averted her eyes when answering a question on the alleged encounter with Kate.

Meghan answered at the time: "The narrative with Kate, which didn't happen, was really, really difficult and something that… I think that's when everything changed, really."

But the body language expert pointed out a few key moments which may hint at a "creative" mind rather than a "memory"-led answer.

Rosas claimed Meghan's eyes were "averting to her right signal that she's not in memory mode but instead, in creative mode.

"She does a different kind of lip press this time, in which her lips turn upward and near her nose. She is not confident about what she is saying. And what's more, if you pay attention just to the left side of her face, you can see that she is showing contempt and joy.

"Neither of those emotions goes with what she's saying. That way we can assume that she's lying at that moment."

The body language expert also claimed "her hands and her words" are in sync with one another when recalling her feelings in the lead-up to her wedding, which can be assumed as "truthful".
