Coronation Street's Toyah Battersby learns a horrifying secret | The Sun

TOYAH Battersby has been laying low after being accused of murdering her husband Imran Habeeb earlier in the year.

However, she's propelled into more Coronation Street drama next week when she learns a shocking secret.

The character played by Georgia Taylor navigated through a series of troubled months, which most notably followed Imran's one night stand with Abi Webster.

Since finding closure, Toyah has been picking herself back up, focusing on her rekindled relationship with Spider Nugent (portrayed by Martin Hancock).

However, the romance has been plagued with secrets, starting with the fact the eco-warrior was still married… and an undercover copper.

Toyah makes a highly troubling discovery but Spider implores her to keep quiet.

The secret could have a link to Griff Reynolds (Michael Condron) as Spider is on a mission to take the racist thug down.

In scenes prior to this, Spider is uneasy when the extremist invites troubled teen Max Turner (Paddy Bever) on a team camping trip with his far-right group.

He then does some digging on Griff's financial backer and discovers who his benefactor is.
