There are shocks and surprises in store for the residents of soapland next week, in yet another batch of unmissable episodes.

Coronation Street sees Audrey Roberts open up to her friends about how she tried to take her own life, while EastEnders’ Sam Mitchell gets her hands on rapist Lewis Butler, before delivering him to Phil.

The question is: what will Phil do with him?

Emmerdale, meanwhile, sees a huge development for Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher, as well as heartbreak for Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd.

And last but not least, Hollyoaks is home to horror, as Liberty Savage’s life is put in danger amid Sienna Blake and Warren Fox’s on-going feud.

Those two will never learn!

Coronation Street

1. Audrey’s attention is drawn to the arrival of Claudia and Charles in the hotel dining room. As Claudia rows with Charles, she’s amazed when Ken, Audrey and Rita pop out from where they’ve been eavesdropping. As they comfort Claudia, Rita remembers it was Audrey’s birthday recently. Audrey announces, out of the blue, that she tried to take her own life. A stunned hush descends, broken by the arrival of a waiter with a cake, singing Happy Birthday to Audrey.

2. Spider’s uneasy when fellow protestor Griff introduces himself to Toyah. Toyah invites herself along to their demo. Back from the protest, Spider tries to convince Toyah that Griff’s a loose cannon and she should steer clear as she’s on bail. Leanne angrily accuses Spider of leading Toyah astray and predicts disaster around the corner.

3. Craig asks Faye if he should move back to his mum’s, and Faye tells him to do as he pleases. Later in the week, Faye makes a pass at Michael – but what will he do?

4. Summer calls at the garage to find Aaron nursing a fat lip. Summer quizzes him about his injury, but he snaps. Aaron apologises to Summer and reveals that the person who caused his injuries is his dad. Aaron explains that his dad is an alcoholic and occasionally lashes out. Afterwards, Summer collapses, leaving Aaron in a panic.

5. Sarah reveals that she called Lorenzo after all, only to discover that he’s owed six months’ wages. Stephen lies to Sarah and makes out that he withheld Lorenzo’s wages after he caught him embezzling money from the company.

6. Zeedan learns from Craig that the detective Stu accused of persecution took early retirement for a spurious reason. Zeedan asks Craig to try and find out more. Yasmeen and Zeedan receive letters from Stu begging them to visit him in prison. Yasmeen rips them up and bins them.

7. Stephen and Max show Sarah the rough cut of their work for the new Underworld website, and Sarah is impressed.

EastEnders

8. Sam gets ready to leave the Square – that is, until Zack calls her to say he’s found Lewis! Armed with the gun from the Mitchell safe, Sam and Zack drive off to retrieve Lewis. Upon doing so, Sam relays her actions to Phil, who is stunned to find the rapist tied up in the boot of the car!

9. It’s an emotional day for the Baker-Taylor clan as Avery’s funeral gets underway. Mitch is dismayed when Tara arrives instead of Felix but at the wake, he realises Felix did this for Avery and apologises for his actions.

10. Stuart is late for the funeral and it gets worse for Stuart as he forgets certain details for the funeral leaving Mitch upset. After the funeral, Jay fires Stuart because of the increasing amounts of complaints.

11. Janine thwarts Linda’s karaoke plans for the night but when Mick arrives back from his trip, she realises Mick wants the entertainment. Janine manages to bring the entertainment back but is seething when Mick joins Linda for some karaoke.

12. Howie tells Kim that his son Denzel has to stay with him for longer but Kim isn’t happy. After a talk with Felix, Kim tells Howie Denzel is welcome to stay.

13. Callum learns from Jay that Stuart has been fired but the conversation switches when Ben asks to meet with Callum. Following some encouragement from Jay, Callum and Ben talk but things don’t go all that well. Afterwards, Ben gets more bad news when Lola refuses to let him see Lexi until he gets professional help. Still reeling, Ben is shocked when Zack exposes Sam’s plan to him.

14. Mr Lister asks Lola for a mini makeover, secretly wanting to impress Honey. Sonia and Honey also get their hair done and Honey takes on a challenge – she has to say yes to everything. Eve spots an awkward exchange between Honey and Billy and tells him to take her for a drink. Before Billy gets a chance, Mr Lister approaches Honey and invites her to lunch.

Emmerdale

15. Charles is relieved when Naomi agrees to meet to talk things through at the church, but Manpreet later hears an argument – and sees an upset an Naomi storm off. Manpreet is horrified to find Charles lying unconscious. Harriet watches with concern as Manpreet tends to her beau. Naomi, meanwhile, wants to know if Charles is okay, but Manpreet shouts at her to get out, and later compares her actions to those of Meena.

16. Charity is hit with a wave of pain. Mackenzie scoops her up in his arms and rushes her to hospital, where she is told that her pregnancy is ectopic. Mackenzie is heartbroken, and he and Charity are left alone to process what’s happened. Charity is grateful for Mackenzie’s support, but it’s evident that Mackenzie isn’t as okay as he’s making out.

17. Clemmie’s mood clouds when Lucas innocently takes her toy. Distracted Kim doesn’t notice what’s about to occur. After scratching Lucas, Clemmie burst into tears at Kim’s stern tone. Billy and Dawn arrive in the chaos and Dawn’s left kicking herself for not staying with Clemmie.

18. Jai and Laurel reconnect and agree to take things further. They are excited to tell the kids their news.

19. Chas is torn between her desire for Al and her responsibility to Faith.

20. Sandra continues to blackmail Rishi over their illicit rendezvous. Mandy is suspicious and sets out to prove her suspicions.

Hollyoaks

21. Cindy is shaken after being visited in her sleep by a terrifying intruder, and her friends wonder whether the visitor might be a delusion. Cindy makes matters worse when she publicly accuses Mason of being the culprit, and Honour subsequently demands an apology.

22. Norma is intent on getting Sienna out of the picture in the wake of her attempt on Warren’s life, and thus she enlists the help of an associate named the embalmer! Liberty, however, ends up in the firing line, as Sienna goes to ground, leaving her sister in huge danger, as the embalmer arrives at the flat.

23. Warren is horrified to learn that Sienna is in huge danger, and therefore he decides to save her. When he bumps into her in the village, however, he comes to realise that it’s Liberty who is facing death, and thus the duo rush back to the flat. A showdown of epic proportion ensues, as Sienna and Warren face off – their cards firmly on the table. Norma, meanwhile, has a proposition for them both.

24. Zoe helps Felix with his search on finding proof that DeMarcus is innocent, but Lexi warns her colleague to stay out of it, or she could risk losing her job.

25. Juliet and Nadira spend the perfect day together, while Shaq and Verity share a touching moment, as she wishes him luck for the future.
