If you’re excited to find out what’s coming up in Coronation Street then you needn’t wait any longer, as we’ve got just what you need to tide you over for the weekend.

The ITV soap has proven unmissable as of late, with a number of huge developments having taken place for the residents of the eponymous street.

Next week (February 20 to 24)is no different in that respect, with Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) desperately trying to stay in control as he pays Carla Connor (Alison King) another visit.

Max Turner (Paddy Bever), meanwhile, receives a visit in prison, and David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) makes a huge mistake, one that could have serious ramifications for his marriage.

David is horrified to find out that Max was beaten up and he subsequently drowns his sorrows, with Maria finding him in Victoria Gardens, offering him support. Caught up in the moment, David leans in for a drunken kiss, but Maria backs away, as he realises what he’s done.

Stephen sits and watches Carla as she begins to hallucinate, moments after he spiked her once more. Peter grows concerned and tends to Carla but it’s Stephen who’s left worried after Peter informs him that Carla has seen a doctor. Is he about to get caught out?

Daisy confronts Justin when she sees him hovering in the street with a bunch of flowers. The barmaid destroys the flowers and, seeing red, punches her stalker for what he’s done.
