Corrie spoilers see killer Stephen makes a move on Jenny as the walls close in

The walls begin to close in on Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) as residents of Coronation Street get wise to his manipulation, but could this just lead him on the road to another murder?

Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) reveals to Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) that Stephen’s wife Gabrielle Reid (Helene Maksoud) posed as his business consultant. Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) later shows Sarah a letter she’s received about equity release from her house, and Sarah’s mind starts to reel.

Meanwhile, Carla Connor (Alison King) speaks to Rufus’ wife and is surprised to learn that Rufus Donahue (Steven Meo) was dabbling in LSD.


When Lou describes the effect on Rufus, Carla realises it’s exactly what she went through during her mental health episode.

Carla tells Roy Cropper (David Neilson) her suspicions, she suspects someone might have drugged her. Not convinced and believing she is suffering from paranoia again Roy tells Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) about his concerns.

How will Peter react?

One thing does go Stephen’s way, however, when he and Jenny Bradley (Sally Ann Matthews) share a passionate kiss and spend the night together.

Meanwhile, Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) moans to Shelley (Natalie Amber) about how Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) has been treating him, but she makes him realise that it’s only because he cares. Billy and Paul have a day out and enjoy their time making wedding plans.

Later, Paul is shocked to discover that Shelley is running a stolen laptop scam from her flat. Paul takes one of the dodgy computers to give to Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) as a birthday present, making out it was going cheap.

Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) is all systems go on the new development, but Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) can’t tell him that he has spent the investment money on Newton and Ridley shares.

Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) and Dom Everett (Darren Morfitt) continue to clash over Eliza Woodrow (Savannah Kunyo), but when Eliza mentions that Stu is loaded, Dom’s ears prick up.

After finding Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) drunk in the Rovers, Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) insists he’s proud of how well she’s doing with her recovery, but she can’t blow it.

Tyrone hands Cassie money and asks her to buy something for tea. Cassie assures him she won’t blow the money on booze. Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) warns him to expect the worst.

Cassie returns home and introduces herself to the girls. When Tyrone suggests he gets her a job at the garage answering the phone, Cassie can’t believe her luck whilst Evelyn reckons it’s got disaster written all over it.
