Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu won the hearts of the nation when she found love with Italian hunk Davide Sanclimenti on Love Island last year.
But after her debut performance on Dancing On Ice on Sunday 15 January, viewers threatened to report Ekin-Su, 28, to Ofcom after host Holly Willoughby called per routine the "sexiest performance ever".
Ekin-Su and her skating partner Brendyn Hatfield performed together on the ice for the first time as they danced to Britney Spears' toxic, with the Love Island winner wearing a skimpy leotard.
During their routine, the actress recreated the moment she crawled across the Love Island terrace to get cosy with contestant Jay Younger behind Davide's back in the villa.
"That may have been the sexiest performance we've ever had on Dancing on Ice," Holly, 41, commented, while judge Oti Mabuse, 32, said the performance was "hot, hot, hot from the outfit to the hair to the makeup".
However, when fans tuned in to watch Ekin-Su and Brendyn, some weren't very impressed, with one writing: "It's a no from me Ekin Su she seems more interested in the cameras, zero skating on her own 2.5 from me."
Another asked: "Ekin-su looked amazing but did she actually skate?"
A third shared on Twitter: "Not an outfit for a family show, shame you on Ekin Su," while another person wrote: "Oh come on. It's week one. Ekin Sue your not going to get more points for the lack of outfit!"
"I'm calling OFCOM about Ekin Su performance. Not the sexual content but the lack of skating," one social media user added.
Ekin-Su's boyfriend Davide, 27, made a cheeky comment about the star's outfit during her first performance when speaking with host Holly.
She asked the star: "How fit is your missus?” to which he replied: "Looking forward to going home.”
Laughing along with the audience, Holly said: "Yeah, I bet! We’ll make sure she keeps the outfit.”
“She was wonderful, very beautiful, and I was proud of her seeing her dancing on the ice,” Davide said.
Many applauded Ekin for recreating her iconic Love Island balcony crawl, with one writing: "Obsessed with Ekin Su recreating this [balcony crawl] and skating to Toxic.”
"Ekin was absolutely incredible AT THEM ALL UP! From the outfit and make up to the dance itself," another said.
Ekin and Brendyn were left standing with Michelle Heaton and her partner Lukasz Rozycki after finishing in the bottom two.
TOWIE star Joey Essex opened the show, with judges calling his and partner Vanessa Bauer's performance "fantastic" before receiving an impressive first score of 27 out of 40.
