Seven Emmerdale spoilers: big discovery, brutal row and the B&B gets new owner | The Sun

SECRETS could be unravelling in the Dales this week after one resident makes a shocking discovery.

Elsewhere in Emmerdale, a young mother is devastated when her love interest is seemingly uninterested. Get the lowdown.

1. Sarah makes a shock discovery

Drama picks up a pace again in the eponymous village and, this time, Sarah Sugden is thrown right into it.

The 17-year-old played by Katie Hill has mostly been a bystander as her family was torn apart by Faith's death and Chas Dingle being exposed for her affair.

However, in scenes due to air on ITV, Sarah overhears a conversation between her friend Chloe Harris (portrayed by Jessie Elland) and Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb).

The hunk is desperate to get pregnant Chloe out of his home after his partner Charity Dingle (and Sarah's grandmother) allowed her to move in with them.

Mack is terrified everybody in the eponymous village will find out he's the father of Chloe's unborn baby, particularly after his friend Nate Robinson figured it out on his own.

Desperate to get rid of Chloe and focus on his relationship with Charity, Mack tells the young mother-to-be that he's paid the deposit on a flat.

Chloe is upset and feels pushed out while Mackenzie insists she should move out the following day.

As a witness of the tense exchange, Sarah becomes more curious than ever and decides to take action.

2. Chloe stoops to a new low

The following day, Chloe is caught off guard when Sarah asks her if Mackenzie is the father of her unborn child.

She feigns shock at Sarah's accusations and goes a step further by manipulating her into backing down.

Chloe then claims she'd never do anything to hurt her friend's family and her manipulation works – Sarah is left feeling guilty for accusing her of having an affair with Mack.

In later scenes, Chloe urges Mack to stop spiralling because the way he's acting is raising suspicions and she tells him about Sarah.

Mack panics but Chloe quickly reassures him that she threw Sarah off their scent.

Will Sarah see right through Chloe?

3. Paddy is alone and isolated

Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) was recently exposed for her illicit romance with Al Chapman.

This created a rift between her and the rest of her clan as Paddy Kirk (played by Dominic Brunt) was unable to forgive her.

Chas was notably given a hard time by Belle and Mandy Dingle for her affair during the festive period.

But the feud could finally be resolved in upcoming scenes of the Yorkshire-based drama.

Chas decides to trigger a reconciliation when Mandy (Lisa Riley) suggests throwing a Dingle bash with the out-of-date beer.

The family members later pile into the bar and Chas jumps on the opportunity to make amends with everyone.

She's taken aback to see an awkward Paddy make his way into the pub.

The vet surgeon's unease only gets worse as his wife builds bridges with her family members.

Feeling excluded, a gutted Paddy decides to quietly slip off to the backroom while his good pal Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) is occupied at the buffet.

Isolated from his once-extended family, he listens to them having fun as Mandy starts testing a karaoke mic to keep the party going.

Later on, Paddy's bad mood seemingly has an impact on how he interacts with his daughter Eve.

His father Bear (Joshua Richards) grows increasingly concerned about him withdrawing from Eve which prompts Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) to talk to him.

Will Vinny save the day?

4. New B&B owner revealed

As she continues to try and cope with her menopause diagnosis, Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) is also ready to take on a new business venture.

She was looking forward to a new job at The Grange until Eric Pollard and Brenda Walker turned all her plans on their head.

But when Pollard (Chris Chittell) sells up the B&B, Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) encourages her sister to buy it.

Will Bernice goes through with it?

5. Gabby is rejected

Gabby Thomas has tried to impress Kim Tate and convince her she can follow in her footsteps.

Unfortunately, she isn't as successful in her love life.

The young mother played by Rosie Bentham first competed with Dawn Taylor to shadow Kim.

But in upcoming scenes of the ITV soap, Gabby gets all the spotlight when she manages to impress the businesswoman with her pitch about expanding the business into schools.

Kim even expects Gabby to deliver on it but things don't go completely as planned the following day.

She tries to be confident as she greets Nicola King, councillor Colin and guests from local schools.

A nervous Gabby looks over at Kim who, on the other hand, isn't impressed by her shaky start.

However, Gabby stands her ground when Nicola questions the safety element of the activities on offer and she soon learns she's sold the idea.

Kim offers Gabby the position of deputy and the latter is determined to celebrate.

In later scenes, Gabby urges Home Farm's male nanny Nicky (portrayed by Lewis Cope) to stick around with her as grabs a bottle of bubbly.

The budding businesswoman drunkenly takes the plunge and leans in to kiss Nicky.

Sadly, the hunk doesn't feel the same way and quickly leaps to his feet announcing he doesn't see her that way.

Gabby is left feeling humiliated… and Dawn (Olivia Bromley) witnesses the exchange.

6. Dawn is insulted

Dawn has had a rough past with drugs and prostitution.

In recent years, however, she's made sure to get her life together for her son Lucas and even tied the knot with Billy Fletcher.

Dawn also became close to her father Will Taylor and developed a bond with his wife, businesswoman Kim Tate.

Yet in upcoming scenes of the Yorkshire-based program, Dawn argues with Gabby.

The pair quarrel about their priorities but Gabby takes things too far by calling Dawn a "prostitute."

To make matters worse, Gabby calls Dawn out in front of her son Lucas, Clemmie and Will.

Dawn is later horrified by Lucas' question and rushes out on the verge of tears.

Will she have to face her past once again?

7. Caleb chats with a villager

Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) rocked up the eponymous village after finding out his mother Faith had died in recent months and not thirty years ago like Cain assured him.

Since then, the missing family member has been trying to find his mark in the Dales.

He was even ready to help Kyle Winchester, who is actually responsible for Al's death.

Unlike his hot-headed half-brother Cain, Caleb has found success as a businessman.

This allowed him to have a surprising connection with another resident, who is just as good in business as he is.

Coming up, Kim Tate wants Caleb to invest in her business.
