Former EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook has been pictured crying in the street after drama involving the Spanish police.

The actress was holidaying with friends in Ibiza while recovering from her recent breast surgery, but she was stopped at the airport when her passport threw up a warning to staff.

In 2018, Danniella was arrested and detained for 14 hours by police in Spain, later being convicted of fraud for failing to pay for £39 of petrol.

The actress recalled driving to Benidorm to see a mate but not having any money to pay for the petrol she filled her car with.

She handed her driving licence and a copy of her passport to the staff member but didn’t return to pay the next day, and ‘couldn’t remember where the petrol station was anyway.’

The issue remained unresolved and as a result, it was flagged up at passport control last week, which left the Sam Mitchell star panicking that she would be going to prison.

She recently expressed her worry about the repayments, fearing the amount had increased substantially given how long it’s been since the event took place.

These new pictures show the actress outside a courthouse in Spain, with it being reported the fine had increased to over 3000 euros.

Danniella previously said that she was taken to a room within minutes of arriving in the country, being confronted by armed police officers as she got there.

She can be seen in these new images looking distressed, wearing a pink shirt and skirt, as well as Christian Dior sliders.

It’s been a difficult few months for Danniella. After her engagement to a prisoner called David was reportedly called off, Danniella is now believed to be dating a Turkish businessman.
