My Mum, Your Dad: Monique becomes emotional
The My Mum, Your Dad experiment became too much for Monique tonight as she broke down in tears, leaving Davina to run after her in support.
After spending the morning with one another, Davina arrived and gathered them in the garden to get an update on their dates.
Davina was curious as to whether the parents were looking to marry, with Elliot and Sharon both expressing they would “love” to get married one day, while Paul said he missed coming home to a partner at the end of the day.
This sparked some emotion within Monique, which resulted in her running off in tears.

After calming herself down, Monique explained: “I couldn’t stop it, all these people are so lovely and they are all on their own and that is me.
“And then it is like, ‘Will you ever get married, will you ever meet someone?'”
Back at the bunker, her daughter Taiya said: “I think it was the conversation, she has been cheated on multiple times by previous partners and it did trigger something in her.”
Monique continued: “I have never had that when you’re in love and you just want to love someone because you are a nice person.

Giving support, Davina exclaimed: “You are a long way away from the end of your life, you are going to get there Monique you are gorgeous.
“I am pleased that I have seen this side of you in a way because I want this experience to be something that will change the way that you see life and give you hope.”
Monique agreed and added: “I have nothing to lose.”
