Davina McCall was called a toucan by sick bullies over her massive nose

Davina McCall has revealed she was bullied over the size of her nose.

The presenter, 55, said: "I got called a toucan because my nose is absolutely massive.

"But I love my big nose and it’s very me! And it’s very my family.

"Jon Snow once said to me, ‘Oh my God, you have the most amazing nose.’ Jon, you made my life!"

Davina is proud of her long career and said: “Me, Sara Cox, Zoe Ball… we got called ladettes, which made me laugh because I think of ladettes as beer-swilling and I haven’t had a drink for 30 years.

"We were like, 'Sod you, we can do anything that you can do.'. I’ve always felt like I could probably get any job that a man could get."

Davina’s latest show My Mum, Your Dad features single parents nominated by their children to find love.

She said: "With a dating show for people in midlife, it’s not just about a sexual connection.

"You need to go, 'I fancy them a bit', but getting to know someone is more important.

She added: "Everyone our age comes with baggage.

"But that is what makes people interesting and sometimes it’s what hooks you in."

It comes after she told Daily Star that My Mum, Your Dad is desperately needed.

The Masked Singer UK star, who is in a relationship with hairdresser Michael Douglas, 48, says she is a prime example of women becoming more confident with age.

She said: said: "If you’re dating in your 50s, you know much better what your shortcomings are, and would have learned from mistakes you have made in previous relationships.

"You will know the people who suit you, and the people who will bring out the worst in you.

"There’s so many plusses to trying to find somebody in midlife because of your self-awareness."

Davina went on: "When you start a romance in your 20s or 30s, it’s completely different.

"I remember everyone always asking me, 'Have you got a boyfriend?' then it’s 'Is he The One?’, 'Are you getting married?', 'Are you having children?'

"It’s exhausting, and the pressure to meet the person you’re going to spend the rest of your life with is immense."
