Death in Paradise’s Ralf Little confirms break from BBC series

Ralf Little talks Game4Ukraine after arriving back from the Caribbean

Ralf Little has shared an update on Death in Paradise, telling his Instagram followers he was taking a two-week break from filming.

The Neville Parker star shared a clip on social media where he shared an insight into what he had been up to lately.

He captioned the video: “Just arrived at the @chelseaharbourhotel in advance of tonight’s massive football game at @chelseafc to raise funds for Ukraine. Kick-off is at 6 – have a watch!

“Will be posting stories throughout today although right now getting a quick hour’s sleep because I’m jet-lagged – only landed from filming @deathinparadiseofficial yesterday!

“Check out Game4Ukraine.com – some unbelievable players turning out tonight. See if I can drag my old legs around with them.” (sic)

As he stood in his hotel room, Ralf began: “So here’s a little update on what’s going on in my life. Today I’m playing in a massive football game called Game for Ukraine to raise money for building new schools and supporting Ukraine as much as possible.

“I love playing in these kinds of games, and this one, in particular, is pretty special.”

The actor went on to reveal which famous footballers he would be playing alongside, as Ralf continued: “I did only land from the Caribbean yesterday.

“We just went on break from Death in Paradise for two weeks… the timing was perfect, but I landed yesterday and didn’t sleep much last night, I am kind of jet lagged.”

“I am getting the excuses out in advance, but I’m jet lagged, slightly injured and very old. So we’ll see how it goes,” he added.

“But yeah, just arrived here at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel, it is all very nice.

“We’re going for lunch…it’s about 12 and we are going for lunch at about 1.30pm, so I’m gonna go to bed for a couple of hours.

“Well for an hour and a half. See if I can get see if I can catch up on some sleep and see how it goes. Fingers crossed.” (sic)

Ralf and his co-stars often share behind-the-scenes snaps and clips from on the set of Death in Paradise.

More recently, Elizabeth Bourgine, who plays Catherine Bordey, sent fans into a frenzy after teasing the return of her onscreen daughter Sara Martins.

The actress shared a snap with one of her fellow co-stars, but she didn’t reveal who it was.

After concealing the identity of who the actress was standing next to her, Elizabeth wrote: “A great week playing with this wonderful actress. SURPRISE.” (sic)
